Samantha on God-Breathed Word of God

Mrs. Clark’s 7th Grade Bible Class Discusses:

One Among Many

The Just-Another-Great-Book Myth

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

It explains many times in the Bible the importance of the Bible but most importantly — that nothing compares to the Bible.

The myth of this chapter is that the Bible is just another plain, old book. Almost like a fable. It’s just a bunch of stories that teach a lesson.
To Christians, this myth sounds, well, stupid.
To non-believers, this might make sense.
This myth can be debunked by the Word of God, itself.
The beautiful, poetic words of the Bible are directly from God written by man.

When questioning if the Bible really is true or not, turn directly to the Lord, or to the Holy Bible because it is the most inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • Can anyone prove His resurrection?
  • What does that have to do with me?

With these solid evidences teens will be better understand the faith they live and know what they believe and why.
