Lawerence on One Unfolding Story

Mrs. Clark’s 7th Grade Bible Class Discusses:

One Among Many

The Just-Another-Great-Book Myth

The just-another-great-book myth says the Bible is just another great book like the Iliad or Odyssey. This myth can be refuted.
Books take a long time to write, even a lifetime.  The Bible was written over a period of approximately sixteen hundred years.
Some books are written through the cooperation of a few scholars, but the Bible was written by more than forty authors from high and low positions.
It was written in multiple places such as a dungeon or palace.
It was also written on three continents in three languages.
One unfolding story from the beginning to the end of the Bible is God’s redemption of man.
That’s is the myth and how to refute it.

The Bible is a miracle of literary accomplishment!
