Sean McDowell is the son of Josh McDowell.

An associate professor at Biola University, Sean holds a PhD in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lives in California with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children.

Sean has authored or co-authored more than 20 books on apologetics, intelligent design, ethics and youth ministry. He was instrumental in helping Josh to update his apologetics classic, Evidencia que Demanda un Veredicto, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023.

Sean is an in-demand speaker around the U.S. and abroad.
